127 hours

James Franco stars in director Danny Boyle's inspirational story of survival based on the incredible true story of Aron Ralston, who became trapped alone in a Utah crater for days after falling on a weak rock, and resorted to extraordinary measures in order to make it out of his drastic crisis alive. A veteran hiker and climber, Ralston (Franco) is very much in his element when he parks his truck near Moab, UT, hops on his bike, and peddles to the middle of nowhere. Later, when Ralston comes across a set of young female hikers who have gotten lost while looking for for a local landmark, he jovially shows them a sight that most casual hikers miss before bidding them goodbye and continuing on his way. Going through the canyons alone, deep in thought, however, the explorer who assumed he was ready for anything suddenly discovers just how fast things can spin out of control when a rock gives way as he falls down a crevice, and pins his hand to the unforgiving wall of stone. Over the course of the next 127 hours, Ralston tries everything he can think of to free himself, remembering small but very memorable events in his life -- as well as forward to the future that he might enjoy should he manage to escape -- as his body begins the slow process of shutting down. Finally realizing that the only way out is to leave part of himself behind, the exhausted, delirious adventurer draws his cheap multi-tool, and does what it takes to survive.
This movie is extremely inspirational a must-see for anyone with a strong stomach.

Fast 5

Former police officer Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker) partners with ex convict Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) on the opposite side of the law. Dwayne Johnson joins returning cast such as Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges, Matt Schulze, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot, Tego Calderon and Don Omar for this high-stakes race. Since Brian and Mia Toretto (Brewster) rescued Dom from custody, they've ridden across many borders to avoid authorities. Now cornered in Rio de Janeiro, they must pull one last job in order to regain their freedom. As they build their elite team of top racers, the unlikely allies know their only chance of getting out for ever means confronting the corrupt businessman who wants them dead. But he's not the only one on their tail. Hard-nosed federal agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) never misses his target.
Although I personally believe this movie doesn't do justice to the original, it does have some good moments. When they are about to pull off the job, the one guy says "this just went from mission impossible to mission freakin' insanity"

Money Ball

Based on a true story, Moneyball is a film for anybody who has ever dreamed of themselves taking on the system. Billy Beane (brad Pitt), the general manager of the Oakland A's and the guy who constructs the team, who has an epiphany: all of baseball's normal wisdom is incorrect. Forced to reinvent his team on a tight budget, Billy Beane will have to outsmart the wealthier clubs. The onetime jock teams with Ivy League grad Peter Brand (Jonah Hill) in an unlikely partnership, recruiting cheaper players that the scouts call flawed, but all of whom have an ability to WIN games. It's more than baseball, it's a revolution. This story follows the dreams that every american man has dreamed of reinventing their favourite sport, baseball. Definitely recommend!!!
